CHOREMANIA

Building on the research conducted around CALOR , the CHORÉMANIE workshop is an artistic mediation project that explores the links between the body, heat, space, and the collective. The 3-hour session can accommodate up to 25 participants from all backgrounds.

Conceived by Ramon Lima for the venues hosting the performance CALOR , the workshop offers an exploration of choreographic practice, moving from intimate to collective spaces, where warmth becomes a guiding thread. It brings people together, permeates movement, and acts as a vector of connection and transformation, both of the space itself and of the relationships between participants. Each space becomes a territory to be warmed, inhabited differently, and reactivated through movement. Enveloping participants in a choreographic whirlwind, this immersive experience transforms dance into a universal, instinctive, and unifying language.

In this approach, preserving each individual's unique qualities within the collective creation is essential to the workshop's success. Group choreographic games encourage interaction, active listening, and spontaneous movement, thus strengthening group dynamics. The transmission of movement patterns and dance sequences is also explored to develop a shared choreographic vocabulary.
